Workflow ID's

My company is converting all ID's to employee ID's.

Eg . ABCDEFG to 1234567

Now the requirement is to replace old ID's to new ID's in workflow PPOM.

We have 1 Org unit, in which there are many positions and holders that need to be replaced. I need a way to handle it though program please help.
