how to add months in date

Hi All,

I have an query.

query:

date format                      output

11/06/2014                11/06/2014 + 2 months= 11/08/2014

10/05/2014                10/05/2014 + 2 months= 10/07/2014

i am stuck due to there are 28/29/30/31 days are in months. so i can not proceed for add days.
