I am working on a stock ageing report for value. (value = Qty * MAP (as on user given date) ). So say for example, user has given last month end date, the closing stock as on that date should be given and MAP as on that date is used to derive the value. Starting from there, i need to go back for all the receipts and derive the ageing on FIFO basis. My problem here is the closing stock. I know we cannot restrict 0TOTALSTCK with any time characteristic and i cannot keep any time char in the rows. How do i achieve the stock as on the user given date. I am not using the snap shot approach for closing stock so it gets derived on the standard non cumulative concept.
I have seen some discussions in the forum but could not get the exact solution.
