Hi experts:

We have sap bo xi sp5 in aix with a cms db of db2 8.2 and migrate this db to db2 9.5. We changed all the AIX variables (LIBPATH, PATH, DB2DIR INSTHOME and DB2INSTANCE) and perform a test with db2 command tool where we can connect successfuly to new database.But when i Try to start the servers (running the startservers) the system keeps down.

If i run the cmsdbsetup.sh script I get the following message:

err: ERROR Failed to get cluster name. (STU00165) err: Error description: The index was not created because an index "BO31QADM.SI_INSTANCE_OBJ_I6" with a matching definition already exists. SQLSTATE=01550

In fact this index exists in the database but sounds strange that it's being created again.

Our environment: SAP BO XI 3.1 SP5 on AIX 6.1.9.5

CMS and audit DB: DB2 LUW 9.5

              The "header note" field does not transfer in when adopting a purchase requisition created in ME51N (create purchase req) into a purchase order using ME21N (create purchase order). You have to retype this data into the purchase order when creating. Is there a fix?

One of the users in my organization has the 'System' - 'User Profile' - 'Hold data' menu option greyed out within transaction F-03 where users with similar authorizations do have that option available.  An authorization trace on activities of one user who is able to use this menu option showed no authorization checks specific to this 'Hold data' activity.  The trace only showed checks on object S_TCODE and F_BKPF_BUK.

Has anyone else come across this?  We're running EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0, basis release 731.

We have encountered a couple issues with external candidates taken through the E-Recruiting process and when an offer is accepted and the data is transferred, our HR personnel receive an error during the PA48 action that the zip code is not valid for a state.

Is there any standard configuration I'm missing that will force the external candidate to enter in a valid zip code upon profile creation so the HR associate doesn't not encounter this error after the PA48 action has begun.  We are forced to verify it upon a hire action, why not prevent an error in the process by verifying at the time the external candidate saves and releases their profile?  The zip code table (V_T5UZC) is there to use, why isn't E-Recruiting using it?

We're giving Change Recording a try in our Enterprise Portal. I've come across an issue I cannot explain. Maybe someone can shed some light on this:

I want to create a new PCD role in a folder with change recording enabled. So I create a new changelist in the Change Organizer (owner is "<my userid>") and mark it as standard. Then, I go to the Content Administration and create the role. After saving, I am informed that this change has been recorded, but the change does not go to my newly created changelist, but to another (new) changelist that gets created and describes itself as an "Automatically created changelist". In addition, the owner of this new changelist is something like "administrator;<some other userid>;<my userid>" and the changelist is "standard for administrator;<some other userid>;<my userid>".

O. k., I can work with this changelist, but I'd think that changes I apply would go to mystandard changelist (if there is one defined).

Then, I move the change to my self-created changelist in the Change Organizer. After that, I'm no longer able to modify the role I created; I get the information that the object "is locked by <my userid>". Well, yes, that's true, but it's locked by me so I'd expect to be able to modify the object. The only way to be able to edit it is to move the change back to the "Automatically created changelist" from above with the wrong userid. I'm not able to change the owner of this changelist to "<my userid>".

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

I did't see the Maintain Mail configuration option for India Loans application like for claims.

Is it different even i check the table V_T77WWW_GACML for generic applications.

Is there any option to setup the mail configurations for loans approve/reject/delete etc.

I recently configured Java Mail Client and Alert Conumer Job and it happens to be a bit strange.(SMTP)

When I schedule the AlertConsumerJob the Alert is sent to the Parameter mail.from and not to mail.to.

So my seetings would be as in the attached file:

I would assume with this properties the Alert would be send to m.mueller@xyz.com, but with Sender eai-dev@xyz.com.

But actually it is send to eai-dev@xyz.com from Sender eai-dev@xyz.com.

Any ideas what could be the error in here?

We are facing an issue regarding Business Graphics in Web Dyn Pro Java. The graphics display is not coming after 2 server nodes created in the SAP Netweaver Portal Server. Prior to this change the service were working fine. Currently if we put the IGSURL property of the business graphics UI element as "http://localhost:4NN80" then it is working but earlier we have not put any value in this property and it was working fine.

We can not deploy the code to production with IGSURL value as http://localhost:4NN80 since in production we have five application servers and one central instance which are having different instance numbers for which the IGS will not work for sure.

Please help us to have a break through to resolve the issue.

I'am trying to combined query of AR Invoice and AR Credit Memo to less the item cancelled because when I generate my report of AR invoice all Invoice that link in AR Credit Memo are appearing in the report. Example in my AR invoice there are 5 qty of Monitor the customer cancelled the 3 of them, then i cancelled the 3 in the system so I'm expecting to see in my report is 2 qty only but when I generate a report from AR invoice 5 qty are appearing in the report.

     I need help with create the dynamic questionnaire. In transaction CRM_SURVEY_SUITE I have the own survey with a few questions. I want to hide/delete some questions depending on the answers of to previous questions. To do this, I created own FM Z*PBO (copy of CRM_MKTCA_SURVEY_MKT_PBO). To begin, I write a simple code to instantly hide some questions, starting with the third. I'am using method ir_survey_values->no_display_add in that FM:

I found the code that returns text. Maybe there is functionality that they can change this texts?

I am working on my Pick List PLD Layout.

I have a few UDFs on the Pick List screen that I added.

When I go to Sort the table, everything looks correct.

But when I go to print, only the system fields print out correctly and the UDFs stayed in their original rows (unsorted).

Here is an example of the ORIGINAL data:

We are trying to rewrite our very long VB.NET add-on (which uses a single class) using multiple classes (one class for one form) in order to make our code more readable and easier to maintain. We are not using B1DE because we have not yet learned how to use this tool.

I am working in SAP PO 7.4, single stack. I have got an FS. It is a webservice to CRM straight scenario.

The end user goes to the webpage and it will have some fields. He will fill them and click submit button and it has to reach CRM through SAP PI

The thing is in the FS there are many input messages from different websites. Around 15 input messages are there. Shuld they be done as 15 seperate interfaces or clubbing the input messages for same webservice

the urls of the different webpages are like this
